And She's Off...

So Prestley is walking now but for the life of me, I can never get her to do it on camera. I caught a few steps but she's really much better than this. Anyhow, with walking comes falling and lots of bumps and bruises. She ended up at the doctors office due to a fall flat on her face, GEEEEEZZZZZZ, and this is only the beginning! I thought maybe she would learn something from the fall but nope, this girl is fearless! We've definitely got our hands full!

Doesn't She Know???

So I must say that I am pretty jealous that Prestley has so much fun at the babysitter while I'm stuck here at work missing out on all the excitement. She is growing up so fast and I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of it. She gets to have fun all day and then when I go pick her up, it's dinner, bath and bed... that's not fun! So Prestley thinks I'm the no fun mom and Megan (the babysitter) is AWESOME! I think she loves her more than me sometimes. Doesn't she know that I felt like crap for 9 mos and drank milk and water which I HATE so she would be healthy. Doesn't she know that I'm the one that was up with her all night every night for the first 5 1/2 mo of her life while she screamed bloody murder? Doesn't she know that I'm the one that supplied her food for 8 mos of her life? Don't worry...eventually she will know, because I'm going to remind her for the rest of her life :)

ENT follow-up

Prestley went to her ENT follow up appointment so they could check on her tubes and they said everything looked good! She has still been congested and breathing out of her mouth so they increased her Zyrtec and gave us another nose spray to try. Have you ever tried giving nose spray to a baby? IT'S NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE! If we can manage to actually get it in her nose, she blows it right back out. You can't hold the spray upside down or it doesn't spray, so we just give it our best shot and hope that she gets enough to do her some good. She's also gained some weight bringing her up to a whooping 19 lbs. Here's some pics of her waiting on the doctor.

Fun times on the 4th of July!

We had a fun filled day with the Duckworth's and the Sattler's. We started the day off with some fun in the sun at our community pool, then went back to our house to hang out and BBQ. Everyone had a great time, especially Charlotte and Prestley!
