Easter in Mabank...

We spent Easter in Mabank and Prestley went to her 3rd Easter egg hunt. We are THOSE parents that don't let her have candy so she left with a bunch of empty eggs...lol. She got to hunt more eggs once we got home that were filled with healthy snacks and toys so she made out pretty well. I'm telling you, our child is wild enough without adding any candy to the mix.

The flu and some cute pics

Just when everyone was getting over the stomach virus, Prestley got the flu. So we've been home sick this week. We all got flu shots too, go figure. Prestley has also become very girly lately. She loves wearing her sunglasses, necklaces, bracelets and watches. Oh and her new favorite movie is Bee Movie. We've now watched it 22,798,402 times since we were home sick all week.

The Plague

So Prestley had some super strain of the stomach bug. It started Friday evening and lasted until Tuesday. She threw up so much that she got dehydrated and we ended up at Pediactric After Hours on Sunday. It's the worst thing in the world when your child is BEGGING for food and water and you can't give it to them. She couldn't even keep down 1 suck of a pedialyte popsicle. Whenever she would throw up, she'd say "mommy, I made a mess" ***heart breaking*** I could go on and on with heart breaking moments from the last week but I'll spare you. So anyway, the good news is she's better now and getting back to her terrorizing ways. The bad news.... my grandma now has the bug. Excuse the horrid pics of me, I wasn't feeling good that day either. Chris insisted on letting us lay in bed all day and boss him around. He took great care of us...thank you babe, you're the best!

Potty training progress....

So Prestley refuses to use the little potty or her Dora training seat, she MUST use the big potty. So in order for her to not fall in, she does the splits and balances herself on it...lol. She has been doing really well but right now potty time is more for entertainment than actually going to the bathroom.
